About me
I'm a prime example of how having a law degree does not mean that you can *only* practice law. I'm a born and bred Californian who attended law school at Stanford University, graduating in 2004, and I practiced as an assistant city attorney for about one year before I decided that it just wasn't for me. I ended up boomeranging back to Stanford and started down the path into higher education as a career counselor, where I stayed for almost three years. After a bit of a career pause to raise my daughter and a few other gigs, I decided I wanted to try my hand at law admissions at Stanford, where I stayed for eight years as both an assistant and associate admissions director. In 2025, I finally decided to take the leap and start my own law school admissions consulting business, something I've been wanting to do for at least five years. When Lawly reached out to me to see about becoming a coach for them, it seemed like a no-brainer and a perfect addition to my business, and here I am!
